About CACLA

The mission of the CACLA Association, based solely on the best interests of children, is to support the development, growth, communication between, and continuation of quality children's advocacy centers in the state of Louisiana. CACLA members ensure that every abused child referred to their programs has a comfortable, child-friendly environment for interviews and other services, reducing the trauma to child victims of abuse.

Human Trafficking Law Passes in Time for the Super Bowl

February 7, 2012

Indiana passed a new  human trafficking law just in time for the Super Bowl.  The new law closes previous loopholes in the definition of human trafficking and the prosecution of human traffickers.  It also provides training to hotel employees and cab drivers to be aware of potential warning signs in possible victims.  To read the entire article click here
