Elizabeth Smart to share her story with the help of Hearts of Hope May 2nd.
Elizabeth Smart will be attending an awareness event at Our Saviors Church in Lafayette May 2nd. Children’s Advocacy Center Hearts of Hope has asked Elizabeth to come and share her story with others. Kidnapping survivor Elizabeth Smart will share her story of survival and hope with Lafayette residents May 2 as part of an educational outreach by Hearts of Hope, an advocacy and counseling center for children and sexual assault victims.

A summit will be held on March 19th and 20th to tackle the prevention of child abuse in sports. Attending the meeting will be child-abuse experts, youth service workers, coaches, and over 50 youth serving organizations.
